Ventia is seeking an Operations Coordinator (Marine) to join our team at the Australian Marine Complex Common User Facility (AMC CUF) in Henderson.
This is a unique opportunity to work within one of Australia's most significant marine and industrial facilities, supporting vessel dockings, wharf operations and critical infrastructure activities. The AMC CUF plays an important role in supporting a diverse range of marine and heavy industry customers
Reporting to the Marine Operations Manager, you'll play a key role in coordinating day-to-day operational activities while providing essential administrative support to ensure operations run safely and efficiently.
About the Role
This is a varied role that sits across operations coordination and administration.
Working closely with operational teams, customers and contractors, you'll help coordinate activities across the facility including:
- Vessel docking and scheduling activities
- Wharf and berth bookings
- Purchase orders and work orders
- Operational records and documentation
- Health, safety and compliance support
- Stakeholder coordination across customers, contractors and site teams
While the pace is engaging and varied, the environment is well planned and organised rather than reactive. You'll have the autonomy to manage your workload, prioritise competing tasks and contribute to a range of activities across the facility.
About You
Marine industry experience is not essential.
We're interested in people who have worked in operational environments and understand how to coordinate activities, build relationships and keep things moving. You may come from a coordination, planning, project support, logistics, maintenance or administration background.
We're looking for someone who:
- Enjoys working in a fast-moving operational environment
- Can manage multiple priorities and stay organised
- Builds positive relationships with a range of stakeholders
- Communicates confidently and professionally
- Takes ownership and follows tasks through to completion
- Brings initiative, reliability and a strong work ethic
- Most importantly, you'll be someone who enjoys being part of a team and takes pride in contributing to successful outcomes.
