About the role:
Are you passionate about turning data, performance insights and governance into meaningful business outcomes? As our
Senior Performance Analyst, you'll play a critical role in helping Unitywater deliver its strategic objectives by providing enterprise-wide performance analysis, portfolio insights and governance support across our most important initiatives. Partnering with leaders, project teams and stakeholders across the business, you'll help shape investment decisions, drive continuous improvement and ensure strategic projects deliver maximum value. This is an opportunity to influence decision-making at an enterprise level while contributing to the future direction and success of an organisation that delivers essential services to our communities.
In this role, you'll:
- Provide strategic performance insights by analysing portfolio, program and project performance to support informed decision-making and organisational success.
- Support the delivery of major strategic initiatives, ensuring projects align with business priorities, governance requirements and expected benefits.
- Drive continuous improvement by enhancing frameworks, reporting, tools and processes that strengthen portfolio performance and value delivery.
- Partner with leaders and project teams to identify risks, opportunities and trends, providing trusted advice that improves outcomes.
- Champion governance, capability and best practice, coaching stakeholders and helping embed consistent project, portfolio and performance management approaches across the business.

Must have
- Relevant qualifications in Business, Engineering, Project Management or a related discipline, or equivalent demonstrated experience.
- Experience supporting strategic projects, portfolios or business initiatives, with the ability to analyse performance, identify risks and provide meaningful insights to support decision-making.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with the confidence to collaborate with leaders, facilitate discussions and build trusted relationships across the business.

Nice to have
- Experience working within a PMO, portfolio management, project governance or business performance environment.
- Experience with business case development, benefits realisation, investment prioritisation or strategic planning activities.
- Experience facilitating workshops, governance forums or executive reporting processes.
- Knowledge of project, program or portfolio management methodologies and frameworks.
- Project, Program or Portfolio Management certifications such as PRINCE2, MSP, MoP, PMP, AIPM or similar.
- Experience working with performance reporting, budgeting, financial tracking or operational delivery frameworks.
