About the role
The Field Area Manager is responsible for managing and supervising the execution of projects for Ventia's NSW/ACT internal delivery team. Reporting to the NSW/ACT State Manager, this role provides leadership to field-based employees while ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with client, quality, and operational requirements.
What you'll be doing:
- Leading, mentoring and developing internal delivery teams while promoting a strong safety culture
- Managing day-to-day field operations, workforce allocation and project priorities
- Providing technical support and guidance to field personnel and subcontractors
- Supporting project planning and delivery alongside project managers and stakeholders
- Overseeing workforce compliance, scheduling, competency requirements and team performance
- Driving quality, safety and continuous improvement initiatives across field operations
Are you our next Field Area Manager?
- Trade-qualified and licensed Electrician with experience in telepower, telecommunications, or critical power infrastructure
- Proven experience leading, supervising and developing field-based delivery teams
- Strong technical knowledge of generators, battery energy systems, telecommunications power systems and associated infrastructure
- Demonstrated experience managing field operations while maintaining safety, quality and client requirements
- Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills
- Current NSW Driver Licence and willingness to travel throughout metropolitan and regional NSW
