First Nations Peoples Opportunities – RAAF Base Tindal - Expressions of Interest
Ventia’s Indigenous Participation team, TRECCA, is seeking Expressions of Interest from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples (local mob) who are looking to build a long-term career with Ventia at the RAAF Base Tindal.
Our team works alongside communities every day—creating strong connections, supporting employment pathways, and helping mob step into meaningful, sustainable jobs.
Must be eligible to hold a Defence Security Clearance. As a result of this requirement the applicant must be an Australian Citizen and be willing to undertake and maintain a satisfactory Australian Federal Police Check.
Food & Beverage Utility Attendants
- Support day-to-day hospitality operations on Defence Base sites, including kitchen and dining services.
- Serving Military Personnel during messes (breakfast, lunch and dinner)
- Delivering an outstanding service to all guests, every shift
- Assisting with basic food preparation and restocking where required
- Following food safety and hygiene standards
- Working as part of a friendly, supportive and culturally safe team
Cleaning Attendants
- Assist with cleaning and housekeeping services across Defence facilities, ensuring safe and high standards of living environments.
- Clean accommodation rooms, bathrooms, and shared facilities
- Make beds and restock linen and amenities
- Follow cleaning schedules and safety procedures
- Maintain high hygiene standards across all areas
