Ventia delivers transport infrastructure and technology maintenance solutions across Victoria’s major road network. This role plays a vital part in maintaining and improving the region's transport infrastructure, helping keep communities connected and roads safe as part of the North East Link Tram to Springvale Upgrade.
This contract includes the operation, maintenance and performance management of critical Transport Systems, traffic signal assets, communications networks, electrical infrastructure and associated roadside technology across live traffic environments.

The roles focus is on leading service delivery at an operational level, turning strategic goals into practical day-to-day actions. It involves ensuring that teams deliver services efficiently, effectively, and in alignment with organizational objectives and customer expectations. Here’s a breakdown of the key components of tactical leadership in service delivery:
- Operational Planning - Develop actionable plans to meet service delivery targets and allocate resources effectively, ensuring optimal performance.
- Team Coordination - Manage cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive service delivery and leverage skills and expertise through cross-training and shadowing initiatives.
- Quality Assurance - Monitor service quality and ensure adherence to standards and use feedback mechanisms (e.g., surveys, KPIs) to identify areas for improvement.
- Problem-Solving - Address operational challenges promptly to minimize disruptions and implement contingency plans for handling unforeseen circumstances.
- Performance Monitoring - Track metrics like service efficiency, customer satisfaction, and team productivity and use data analytics to identify trends and make informed decisions.
About you
- A-Grade Electrical License is a mandatory requirement.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience as a Site Supervisor in the major roads construction sector, particularly within the electrical domain.
- Proven experience managing electrical installations, maintenance, and commissioning in a construction environment.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations, electrical standards, and project management practices.
- High level of competency in using Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel
- Familiarity with Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) and their application in road construction projects is highly desirable.
