As a Mechanical Site Supervisor, you’ll lead mechanical installation activities, coordinating people, plant, materials and site teams to deliver work safely, efficiently and on schedule. You’ll oversee site delivery, monitor productivity and performance, manage resources, and implement strategies to improve programme outcomes and project margins, all while ensuring compliance with company policies and the Project Management Plan (PMP).

Key Accountabilities
Project Planning
- Support project planning, methodologies, sequencing, resourcing, quality, HSE and environmental requirements.
- Identify key milestones, risks and contingencies and maintain effective stakeholder communication.
Cost Management
- Support cost planning, value opportunities, procurement strategies and subcontractor performance.
- Assist with variations, progress claims and commercial matters.
Construction & Completion
- Manage site delivery to ensure safe, efficient, compliant and timely execution.
- Coordinate subcontractors, engineering, HSE, contracts and planning teams.
- Manage logistics, plant, equipment, documentation, inspections and site records.
- Drive performance against programme milestones and support design changes, pre-commissioning, commissioning and completion.
People & Industrial Relations
- Ensure personnel are appropriately inducted, licensed and qualified.
- Monitor performance and proactively manage employee and industrial relations matters.
Communication & Client Relationships
- Maintain effective project communication, including RFIs, notices, non-conformances and document control.
- Build strong client and stakeholder relationships and promptly escalate and resolve critical issues.
Continuous Improvement
- Contribute to project reviews, lessons learned and continuous improvement.
- Provide personnel performance feedback to support development and succession planning.
About You
- Certified mechanical trade background with strong construction, project and program controls knowledge, including budget management.
- Petrochemical experience highly desirable, with hands-on knowledge of piping, valves and rotating equipment.
- Strong leadership, performance management, mentoring and coaching skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and conflict resolution abilities.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Collaborative and engaging approach, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities while maintaining energy and focus.
- Excellent time management, organisation and delegation skills.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, MS Project and/or Primavera P6.
