The Role
Looking for the perfect FIFO roster? As a Drill Rig Fitter / Heavy Diesel Mechanic, you'll maintain and repair a diverse fleet of drilling and support equipment including Multi-Purpose Rigs, Schramm 685s, the latest Fury 130 remote-operated rig, Foremost Dual Rotary, RC and conventional drilling rigs, CAT engines, Sullair and atlas compressors, Hurricane boosters, pumps, trucks and light vehicles. You'll complete planned maintenance, fault finding and breakdown support to keep drilling operations running safely and efficiently.

About You
You're a trade-qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic or Diesel Fitter who enjoys hands-on work, solving problems in the field, and taking pride in maintaining equipment to the highest standard.
You'll bring:
- Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology, Diesel Fitting or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years post-trade experience
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills across heavy mobile plant and drilling equipment
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities in a remote operational environment
- Current HR Driver's Licence and First Aid Certificate
- Ability to pass an in-clinic medical (including drug/alcohol testing) and a Police Check
Highly Regarded
- Experience working on exploration, mining or water well drilling rigs
- Exposure to Multi-Purpose, Schramm, Fury, Dual Rotary, RC, Air Core or conventional drilling equipment
- Experience with CAT engines, Sullair compressors, boosters and hydraulic systems
- Previous experience supporting remote drilling or rig operations
- PLC and can bus fault finding, diagnostics and maintenance experience
