Join Ventia's Minerals team at Olympic Dam and play a key role supporting critical drilling operations on one of Australia's largest mining sites. This position combines frontline leadership with planning, coordination and administration, ensuring civil works and drilling support activities are delivered safely, efficiently and on schedule.
Leading a small team, you'll oversee drill pad construction, road maintenance, excavations and earthworks while working closely with client stakeholders, drilling crews and site leadership to keep operations moving.

About the role
- Lead and supervise civil and drilling support activities across site
- Coordinate drill pad construction, road maintenance, excavations and earthworks
- Develop and manage work schedules to support uninterrupted drilling operations
- Work closely with client representatives, drilling crews and contractors
- Coordinate permits, purchasing and operational requirements
- Manage equipment maintenance planning and scheduling
- Complete reporting, compliance requirements and operational administration
- Promote a strong safety culture through visible leadership
About you
- Experience supervising teams within mining, civil, earthmoving, drilling or related industries
- Strong computer and administrative skills, with the ability to manage reporting, schedules, compliance documentation and operational data
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
- Experience using business systems for timesheets, safety reporting, purchasing, maintenance or operational reporting
- Well-developed planning, organisational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to build strong relationships with clients, contractors and operational teams
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Commitment to safety, teamwork and continuous improvement
