About the Opportunity
The successful applicant will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and commercially successful delivery of a large-scale facilities and asset management contract across Tasmania. You will lead internal teams and a subcontractor network while maintaining strong client relationships, driving business growth, and ensuring exceptional service outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a strong safety culture with a focus on workforce wellbeing and compliance.
- Manage the delivery of facilities, maintenance, and infrastructure services.
- Build and maintain key client and stakeholder relationships.
- Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead subcontractor performance, safety, and compliance outcomes.
- Achieve contract performance, financial, and profitability targets.
- Identify growth opportunities and support business development activities.
- Develop and mentor a diverse, geographically dispersed workforce.
About You
To be successful, you will bring:
- 5+ years' experience in Facilities Management, Asset Management, Infrastructure Services, Project Management, or a related field.
- Experience leading large and geographically dispersed operational teams.
- Strong customer relationship and stakeholder management skills.
- Commercial acumen with demonstrated contract management experience.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Relevant qualifications in Engineering, Asset Management, Facilities Management, Project Management, or a related discipline (desirable).
