The Role
Based out of our Cavan depot, you will join a supportive and inclusive crew delivering gas infrastructure works across Adelaide's northern suburbs. This is an excellent opportunity to build a long-term career in the gas industry, with Ventia providing structured training, upskilling, and development opportunities.
The role ensures effective planning, stakeholder engagement, and contractor management to achieve project objectives within budget, schedule, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
The primary purpose of this position is to coordinate stakeholder communications and support the efficient delivery of project and operational activities.
- Monitor and manage high-volume communications received via the project inbox, ensuring enquiries from builders, clients, and stakeholders are actioned efficiently, tracked to completion, and escalated appropriately.
- Coordinate and manage the distribution of work for site inspections.
- Coordinate and manage Before You Dig (BYD) requests and reviews in line with inspection works allocated.
- Manage the allocation of reinstatement work orders to subcontractors within required timeframes.
- Provide backup and support to the Operations team as required.
What you need
- Demonstrated ability to manage high-volume email correspondence and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage professionally with clients, builders and internal stakeholders.
- Strong administration experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- High attention to detail and ability to identify and escalate issues appropriately.
- Risk and HSEQ minded.
