About the role
As a Guest Services Agent, you'll be instrumental in creating a positive and memorable stay for our guests. Acting as the central point of contact for accommodation services, you'll help foster a welcoming environment by ensuring rooms are guest-ready, bookings are efficiently managed, and every interaction reflects a commitment to excellent service.
You will play a key role in:
- Coordinating accommodation bookings, arrivals and departures
- Managing room allocations and occupancy records
- Conducting room inspections and maintaining accommodation standards
- Working closely with housekeeping teams to ensure room readiness
- Responding to customer enquiries and resolving accommodation-related issues
- Building strong relationships with Defence personnel and site stakeholders
- Maintaining accommodation records and reporting requirements
- Supporting quality, compliance and service delivery outcomes
About you
- Previous experience in customer service, reception, administration, hospitality or accommodation services
- A diploma or degree in hospitality management or a related field (advantageous)
- Experience using RMS or similar accommodation booking systems (desirable)
- Proficiency in MS Office and record-keeping systems
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Attention to detail
- Respectful and inclusive approach to working with diverse communities
- Most importantly, you'll be a team player who enjoys building positive relationships and delivering a great customer experience.
Defence clearance requirements
This role requires eligibility to obtain and maintain a Defence Baseline Security Clearance. As a result, applicants must be Australian Citizens.
