Ventia ia seeking a Qualified Electrical Technician to support critical telecommunications infrastructure (power/solar systems, generators, hvac equipment) throughout Toowoomba region and surround areas including Dalby, Roma and beyond.

About the Role
You will be responsible for maintaining the infrastructure that keeps communities connected. Your work will involve supporting and maintaining telecommunications power and environmental systems including:
- Telecommunications power systems
- Solar power systems
- Standby generators
- HVAC and cooling equipment
- Battery systems and associated infrastructure
- Routine preventative maintenance
- Fault finding and emergency breakdown response
- Repairs, upgrades and network support activities
Every day brings something different, providing exposure to a broad range of technologies and sites across the telecommunications network.
About You
- Current QLD Electrical licence
- Current LVR CPR and First Aid
- Current drivers licence
- Construction white card
- Strong fault finding and troubleshooting skills
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Confidence working autonomously
- Competent using digital tools and systems (Microsoft Suite, Maximo)
- HVAC qualification is preferred or willing to undertake restricted licence to perform required works
