Ventia is seeking a motivated Project Engineer to join our team at the Australian Marine Complex Common User Facility (AMC CUF) in Henderson, WA. Reporting to the Asset Manager, you will work alongside experienced customers, contractors and operational teams to support capital works, maintenance projects and long-term asset management initiatives across this strategically important facility.
About the Role
As Project Engineer, you will provide practical engineering and project support across a diverse portfolio of infrastructure assets. You will gain exposure to the full project lifecycle while helping improve asset performance and support projects from initial planning through to completion.
Your day-to-day work will include supporting engineering assessments, condition inspections, technical investigations, project planning and stakeholder coordination. You will have the opportunity to learn from experienced team members while gradually taking ownership of projects and technical activities as your capability develops.
Key Responsibilities
- Support capital works and infrastructure projects from planning to delivery.
- Assist with assessments, inspections and technical investigations.
- Coordinate project scope, budgets, schedules, contractors and documentation.
- Monitor progress, risks and variations while maintaining accurate records.
- Work with stakeholders to improve asset performance and project outcomes.
About You
You are a motivated engineering professional looking to develop your experience across project delivery, infrastructure and asset management. We welcome candidates beginning their careers and will provide support to help you grow.
You will bring:
- A degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical or a related engineering discipline.
- Graduate, internship, placement or initial industry experience.
- An understanding of engineering principles and technical documentation.
- Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
- A willingness to learn with good organisation and attention to detail.
- A current Driver’s Licence.
