Role Details
Position: School Cleaner
Location: Brightwater State School (Mountain Creek) and Peregian Springs State School
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: Monday to Friday, 4:30am-8:30am and/or 2:30pm-6:00pm
Pay: From $33.85/hr + penalties + super
Contract: Casual - Potential for ongoing work and pathways to permanent employment based on performance and business requirements
About the Role
Ventia is seeking reliable and motivated Cleaners to join the team supporting local schools across the Sunshine Coast.
This is a fully casual position. Shifts are offered based on operational requirements, and successful applicants must be flexible to work at either:
- Brightwater State School, Mountain Creek, QLD
- Peregian Springs State School, Peregian Springs QLD
Applicants may be rostered at either location.Your duties will include:
Cleaning classrooms, offices and staff facilities
Vacuuming, mopping, sweeping and dusting
Cleaning bathrooms and amenities
Emptying bins and replenishing supplies
About You - You are be someone who:
Is reliable, punctual and self-motivated
Takes pride in delivering high cleaning standards
Can work independently and as part of a team
Is flexible to work across both school locations
Holds a Blue Card and National Police Check
