About the Role
You’ll join the Slabmaking Department, where molten iron becomes steel — powering Australia’s building products. As part of the BOS Asset Team, you’ll apply asset management strategies and deliver maintenance activities safely and efficiently
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine electrical maintenance tasks
- Undertake repairs, inspections, and commissioning duties
- Troubleshoot equipment and process faults
- Liaise effectively with operators and maintenance team members
- Conduct root cause analysis, reporting, and rectification
- Always work safely, following BlueScope and site safety procedure
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Electrician with current Electrical Contractor licence
- Electrical maintenance experience (reading prints, fault finding, diagnosis)
- PLC experience (highly regarded)
- SAP & computer skills (not essential)
- NSW Driver’s Licence
- Ability to work independently and in a multi-skilled team
- Strong commitment to safety and continuous improvement
