Do you want to work alongside one of Australia’s top-performing coal-fired power stations? Millmerran is a leader in the industry, processing 11,000 tonnes of coal daily. Ventia provides operational and preventative maintenance services to the Millmerran Power Station, which generates 870MW of electricity, powering over 1 million homes. Ventia’s contract was successfully renewed in September 2024, ensuring stable and ongoing work. We’re looking for skilled Mechanical Fitters to join the team and ensure the plant runs smoothly through hands-on maintenance and equipment replacements. Want to make the most of your work-life balance? This is a full-time opportunity with a flexible 4 days on, 3 days off roster.
What We Offer
- Condensed full-time work week into a 4-day roster (6am–5pm, Monday to Thursday OR Tuesday to Friday)
- Base rate + tool and travel around $119,905
- Hourly Rate: $52.16

- Rural Allowance – Between $34.00 - $92.00 (pending location)
- Tool Allowance - $23.52 per week

About You
- Certificate III in Mechanical Fitting, Diesel Fitting or Equivalent
- Demonstrated industry experienc
- White Card
- Australian Drivers Licence
- Engineering, Mechanical Maintenance, or Heavy Diesel background
- Previous experience in Coal and Ash handling or similar environment (highly desirable)
- Confined Spaces Training, Working at Heights Training, Elevated Work Platform (EWP) Ticket, High Risk Licence
