Senior Project Manager – Adelaide
About the Opportunity
Ventia proudly delivers the Across Government Facilities Management Arrangement (AGFMA) for the Government of South Australia. We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead a team of Project Managers and oversee multiple projects, ranging from minor works to large, complex initiatives, across diverse sites.
This role plays a critical part in delivering essential services and infrastructure upgrades throughout South Australia. You will drive project success through strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and rigorous project governance.
This is a secure, permanent full-time position based in Adelaide.

What You Will Be Doing
- Lead and mentor a team of Project Managers to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards
- Ensure compliance with sustainability, safety, and client requirements
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, managing escalations effectively
- Collaborate with Project and Asset teams to monitor technical performance and productivity
- Oversee project planning, scope, timelines, assurance processes, and financial controls
Skills and Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in construction, engineering, quantity surveying, or similar
- Demonstrated experience in project management, including team leadership
- Strong working knowledge of project management software and reporting tools
- Ability to prepare and interpret schedules, flowcharts, and action plans
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills with proven ability to influence outcomes
- Experience in facilities management or infrastructure projects highly regarded
Eligibility
To be successful, you must be an Australian Citizen and able to obtain a Security Clearance.
