Ventia is seeking a reliable and motivated Cleaning Supervisor to join our team at Cherry Creek Youth Justice Centre.
This is a stable role with purpose, supportive leadership, and the opportunity to guide and mentor others.
Position Overview
Role: Cleaning Supervisor
Location: Cherry Creek Youth Justice Centre, Little River VIC
Schedule: Sunday to Thursday, 8:00PM to 12:30AM
Pay Rate: From $36.56 per hour, plus penalties, allowance and Super
Contract: Permanent Part-Time
Start Date: As soon as possible

Key Responsibilities
Lead, support, and mentor a small cleaning team
Maintain high hygiene standards across offices, workshops, bathrooms, staircases, and communal areas
Perform dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming
Complete bio-cleaning tasks as required
Manage and close work orders using basic computer systems
Liaise professionally with onsite management
What You Will Bring
Previous cleaning experience and proven experience supervising or leading a team
Valid Working with Children Check and National Police Check
Ability to perform all cleaning tasks, including bio cleans
Ability to pass a medical assessment and drug and alcohol test
Reliable transport and a valid driver’s licence
Basic computer literacy
Strong attention to detail, safety and teamwork focus, and well‑developed conflict resolution skills
