What you will be doing
You will report to the scheduler and support Workshop 1 technicians and supervisors in the administration of maintenance activities for Defence assets. You will collaborate with both Ventia and Defence teams to deliver required outcomes.
Your tasks will include a range of general administration, assisting with work orders, time sheet entries, ordering of uniforms/stationery, updating registers, purchase orders etc. ensuring compliance and accuracy in everything you do.
Required Skills and Experience
- Previous administration experience – preferably in a Defence or Maintenance environment
- Sound computer skills (Microsoft suite, SAP & Ariba – preferred)
- Good time management, problem solving and communication skills
- Be a self-starter who is proactive and able to use initiative
- Keen interest to learn and develop new skills
- Australian citizen with the ability to obtain required Defence Security Clearance
