Are you experienced in timesheeting, payroll, and workforce administration? We are seeking a detail oriented professional to provide efficient and effective support to Managers, Payroll, HR, and employees in relation to rostering and timesheet requirements across Court Security & Custodial Services nationwide.
This role plays a key part in ensuring compliance with the Enterprise Agreement and relevant Australian legislation, while delivering ongoing guidance and education to support accurate, timely, and compliant workforce practices.

Primary Responsibilities
- Partner with HR, CSM, and DCSM to improve deadline adherence, Enterprise Agreement compliance, and accuracy in rostering, timesheets, and payroll.
- Monitor award compliance and drive accuracy in weekly schedules, attendance, and absence records for approximately 500 employees.
- Validate and process fortnightly payroll in accordance with established procedures to minimise payment errors.
- Act as the primary contact for managers and employees to resolve payroll queries and prevent recurring issues.
- Manage a high-volume inbox, responding to pay queries and information requests within agreed timeframes and following through to resolution.
- Professionally communicate with wages and salaried employees via phone and email.
- Review and process contract variations, ensuring accurate submission to HR and Corporate Payroll.
- Analyse and maintain employee and site master data integrity across relevant systems.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, compliance, customer service, and operational effectiveness.
- Undertake additional duties and ad-hoc projects as required.
About You
- Proven experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a team and engage with multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Ability to work flexibly and adapt in a complex, dynamic environment while managing competing priorities and tight deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail with well-developed analytical, problem-solving, and initiative-driven capabilities.
- Experience using SAP or other enterprise payroll/accounting systems (desirable).
- Experience with Deputy or similar time and attendance systems (desirable).
