We’re expanding our Transmission capability across NSW and are looking for a driven Project Manager ready to take ownership of new large scale transmission projects. This is a rare opportunity to step into a fast-growing business, build strong client relationships with major network operators, and play a key role in delivering complex design and construct transmission works. This role is based in Newcastle, with frequent travel to QLD initially required to support early project mobilisation and on site delivery activities.

What you’ll be doing
You’ll lead end to end Transmission project delivery, including:
- Manage scope, schedule, cost, risk, safety and reporting across transmission projects.
- Build strong relationships with network operators and key project stakeholders.
- Lead project planning, tender inputs, resourcing and construction delivery activities.
- Maintain regular site presence, including rural and remote locations as required.
- Collaborate with engineering, construction and commercial teams to resolve variations, delays and operational issues.
- Provide hands on support through mobilisation and delivery, leading Supervisors, Admin and a team Lines workers.
What we’re looking for
- Previous experience running projects $5–10m+.
- Background in transmission, or highly relevant adjacent industries such as distribution, major utilities, telecommunications towers, or remote construction.
- Experience managing delays, variations and EOT processes.
- Strong client facing ability and commercial acumen.
