About the role
Are you an Indigenous Australian looking for a stable, hands-on role where your attention to detail and organisational skills make a real impact? Ventia is seeking a dedicated Stores Attendant to join our Defence Stores team in North Queensland, supporting operations at the Townsville Defence base.
In this role, you’ll be at the heart of logistics, managing the storage and distribution of essential items across armouries, health centres, and general stores. Whether working independently or as part of a team, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our Defence Force personnel have what they need, when they need it.

About you:
- A person whom indentifies as Indigenous Australian
- Previous experience in a warehouse, retail or stores environment
- Forklift licence (desirable but not essential)
- Comfortable using computer systems
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Eligible to pass a Defence Security Clearance
