SHEQ Team Lead – Oil & Gas
Perth Based | Monday to Friday | Up to $180K Inclusive of Super
We’re looking for an experienced Safety, Health, Environment & Quality (SHEQ) Team Lead to support Onshore Well Servicing Operations – Chevron Barrow Island - all while being Perth based in a Monday–Friday role.
This is a senior position suited to someone who thrives in complex, high risk environments and enjoys leading people, lifting capability, and driving continual improvement in a fast paced environment.
About the Role
As the SHEQ Team Lead, you will:
- Lead and mentor a small team of SHEQ Advisors across multiple operational environments
- Drive assurance, audit and compliance programs across Onshore Well Servicing operations
- Lead ICAM investigations and embed quality corrective actions to close out
- Partner with operational leaders to strengthen safety culture and risk management
- Deliver SHEQ strategies aligned with contractual and regulatory requirements
- Provide coaching, training and capability uplift across the workforce
- Liaising with the client to ensure alignment and compliance with expectations
- This role has high visibility across the business and requires strong stakeholder engagement, leadership, and technical SHEQ expertise.
What You’ll Need
- Proven expertise in SHEQ roles within the Oil & Gas and / or Mining sector (mandatory)
- Diploma or higher in Occupational Health & Safety
- ICAM Investigation qualification
- Lead Auditor qualification
- Trainer & Assessor (desirable)
- Strong communication, leadership and influencing skills
