A great opportunity for an Electronics Technician to join our fully geared Defence Maintenance Contract team based at the Military Units in Amberley, QLD.
This is not your typical assembly line Electronics Technician role. This unique position allows you to step away from the workbench and step into the field, completing fault tracing and part replacement on Defence weapons, vehicles and equipment.
Within this role, you will gain experience working on control systems that only working with the Defence can offer. Turn your passion for electronics and problem-solving into an exciting and rewarding career with us.

- Work 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday and finish at 12 pm on Fridays

About you
- Must be an Australian Citizen and eligible to obtain NV1 defence clearance
- Recognised trade Certificate III in electro-technology communications or in a similar electronics discipline
- Demonstrated ability to inspect, diagnose, repair and maintain electronics equipment such as radios, optical instruments, navigational aids, laser range finding equipment, electro-optical / electro-mechanical systems, radar systems, electronic vehicle control systems and electronic surveillance and detection systems
- Possess demonstrated competencies in the use of computer IT applications. MILIS, SAP and Microsoft Office Suite are preferred
- Demonstrated ability and experience to maintain and repair and calibrate equipment (i.e. gauges, binoculars, compasses)
- Demonstrated ability and experience to maintain module level high frequency and very high frequency radio systems in the combat radio fleet to a medium level of repair, using a repair facility
