The Opportunity
We have two positions available within our Sydney Roads and Asset Performance portfolio. These roles will support the delivery of routine, tactical, and improvement project development activities across a diverse portfolio of projects.
You will play a key role in ensuring compliance with a broad range of planning and environmental requirements, working across complex and often continuously operating assets. Operating within a structured project management framework, you will help ensure projects are delivered in line with best practice standards for project, contract, and asset management.

Key Accountabilities:
- Support project management in developing and delivering routine, tactical, and improvement works on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
- Assist with design and specification documentation for approvals, planning, costing, scheduling, and contract processes.
- Maintain accurate project documentation for reporting, monitoring, and evaluation.
- Engage stakeholders and coordinate groups to support communication and timely delivery.
- Analyse data, identify issues, and track project progress against milestones.
- Ensure proposals align with contract objectives, delivering safe, cost-effective, and efficient solutions.
- Collaborate across teams to achieve integrated project outcomes and shared success.
- Meet all SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality) responsibilities.
- Promote a strong safety culture aligned with the “Safe for Life” philosophy.
About you:
- Tertiary qualifications in Civil or Structural Engineering are essential.
- Additional qualifications in Project Management (or a related discipline) are highly regarded.
- Proven experience in project design management, with sound knowledge of Transport for NSW specifications.
- Demonstrated project management capability, including experience delivering multiple concurrent small to medium projects within complex, constrained urban environments.
- Strong background in infrastructure project development, with a successful track record in the delivery of road, maintenance, or transport infrastructure projects, ideally within fast-paced, multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to work independently while effectively managing competing priorities.
- Highly motivated and results-driven professional with a strong ability to deliver successful project outcomes.
- Hold a white card and driver’s license.
