Expression of Interest – Field Delivery Manager

This is a senior delivery leadership role, overseeing end‑to‑end field execution, service assurance and operational performance across multi‑technology networks.

About the role
As a Field Delivery Manager, you will lead end‑to‑end field delivery and service assurance activities across national and regional operations, ensuring works are executed safely, compliantly, on time and to the required quality standards. You will oversee field activities across surveys, installations, fibre works, commissioning, migrations, cutovers, fault restoration and decommissioning.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead national field delivery across planned works and reactive assurance activities.
- Provide forward planning visibility and maintain accurate, timely updates across delivery systems.
- Act as the primary escalation point for field, assurance, engineering and customer‑facing teams.
- Manage field resources including supervisors, technicians and subcontractors, driving performance through coaching and productivity management.
- Oversee fault management, after‑hours escalations and service restoration.
- Deliver accurate reporting on progress, quality, risk and service performance, supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
What we’re looking for:
- Extensive leadership experience delivering and assuring complex telecommunications field operations.
- Strong technical knowledge across fibre, optical transmission, microwave, mobile, enterprise and leased networks.
- Demonstrated WHS leadership with proven experience managing safe systems of work in field environments.
- Hands‑on experience across installation, commissioning, testing, migrations and fault restoration activities.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to manage multiple concurrent work streams in fast‑paced environments, with experience using operational delivery systems (e.g. Helix, Novus, QTrac or similar).
