Due to our continued success partnering with the Australian Defence Force, Ventia havean opportunity for an Innovation & Efficiency Coordinator on ourDefence Clothing Services contract (DCS).
The new contract will see Ventia partner with experienced Australian organisations to deliver clothing design and supply, warehousing, distribution, and clothing store services.
TheInnovation & Efficiency Coordinatorwill be located inMelbourneand will ensure the delivery of ongoing efficiencies and improvements to the Defence Clothing System contract. This will include close engagement with our Prime Subcontractorsand Ventia’s service delivery team to project manage felt improvements to the customer and clients experience.
Other Role Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the planning and delivery of business improvement initiatives with a focus on innovation, from concept to execution.
- Partner with Defence, approved Subcontractor partners and other stakeholders as required to increase efficiency through the life of the contract.
- Develop business cases for proposed initiatives and improvements.
- Contribute to and administerthe Innovation/ Efficiency Implementation Plan (IEIP).
- Organise annual Value Forum, with approved Subcontractorpartners and supply chain representatives to explore potential efficiency & value chain opportunities and emerging innovation and improve business connection with customers, vendors, strategic partners, and resources.
About You
To be successful in your application, you will have tertiary qualifications in Supply Chan Management, Logistics or similar with experience working ideally in the logistics space.
- Ability to access and operate mandated Defence systems with experience using ERP or similar ideal
- Experience working within the defence space (advantageous)
- Demonstrated ability to successfully deliver end-to-end projects in alignment with established project management frameworks and governance standards
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- An ability to work flexibly and adaptively within a small team
All team members engaged on a Ventia Defence Contract must be an Australian Citizen and be eligible to hold and maintaina Defence Security Clearance.
