About the Role
Ventia is on the hunt for a motivated and customer-focused Café Attendant to join our team in Fisherman’s Bend, Melbourne, supporting front-of-house operations within Defence facilities in our Commercial Operations sector.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about hospitality, coffee, and delivering outstanding service in a professional and collaborative environment.
About You
Working collaboratively with team members, supervisors, and Defence personnel, the café attendant ensures a clean, safe, and welcoming environment that meets organisational and client expectations. The position also promotes a culture of professionalism, safety, and continuous improvement to enhance customer experience and operational excellence as well as providing great coffee.
• Hotel and/or TAFE Qualifications in Food and Beverage
• Food Handlers Certificate Level 1
• Experience in hospitality, catering and café operations
• Delivering outstanding service to all guests, every shift
• Working as part of a friendly, supportive team
• Following food and safety and hygiene standards
Must be eligible to hold a Defence Security Clearance. As a result of this requirement the applicant must be an Australian Citizen and be willing to undertake and maintain a satisfactory Australian Federal Police Check.
