About the Role
In this role, you will play a key part in developing detailed electrical designs and supporting project delivery from concept through to completion. You will collaborate with internal teams and contribute to high quality outcomes across a range of telecommunications projects.
- Developing detailed electrical designs for telecommunications infrastructure
- Preparing material take offs and cost estimates (labour and materials)
- Supporting the construction teams during project delivery
- Maintaining and updating databases and as built drawings
- Ensuring designs meet relevant standards and compliance requirements
Required Skills and Experience
You are a motivated and detail-orientated Electrical Designer (or Engineer) with the ability to work in a fast paced, collaborative environment.
We are looking for experience in -
- Electrical design or engineering roles
- Low voltage (LV) and DC power systems
- Preparing bill of quantities and cost estimates
- Interpreting CAD drawings
- MS Office, particularly Excel for estimating and reporting
- Understanding of ISO9001, OH&S and environmental standards
- Drivers licence
- Willingness to travel and work away from home as required
Bonus skills (desirable, not essential)
- Solar and battery systems design for commercial applications
- Knowledge of solar industry standards and regulations
- Basic understanding of LV/HV AC electrical systems
- Familiarity with MS Access, Power Automate and Power Apps
