Great Opportunity for Industrial Electricians to Step into Oil & Gas. Ventia is seeking a qualified Electrician to join our team supporting and working on one of our drilling rigs. About the Role
As the Rig Electrician, you will play a key role in maintaining safe and reliable electrical operations on a drilling rig. Your work will include:
- Performing preventative and scheduled maintenance on electrical systems
- Assisting with breakdowns and supporting critical repairs
- Troubleshooting and fault-finding on rig electrical equipment
- Working closely with supervisors, rig crews, and maintenance teams
- Ensuring compliance with safety and maintenance procedures
- Contributing to a high-performing team environment

About You, We’d love to hear from you if you have:
- A current Electrical Trade Qualification
- Industrial or heavy industry experience (oil & gas advantageous)
- Experience with PLC systems, fault-finding, and maintenance
- Strong troubleshooting skills under pressure
- Ability to use computer systems for reporting and maintenance tracking
- A valid Open Manual Driver’s Licence
