About the role:
We are seeking experienced and analytical Specialists – Operating Model Design & Delivery to support the design and implementation of enterprise operating models and organisational structures across a range of strategic transformation initiatives.
In this role, you will play a key part in shaping future-state organisations by delivering robust analysis, developing design artefacts, and supporting evidence-based recommendations across structures, roles, capabilities, processes and governance. Working closely with senior operating model practitioners, change teams and People & Culture partners, you will help ensure design outcomes are practical, fit-for-purpose and aligned with enterprise design principles and frameworks.

What the role will involve:
- Conduct structural mapping, workforce profiling and diagnostic assessments to inform design decisions
- Develop design artefacts including value streams, capability maps, RACI models and role profiles
- Support development of operating model options, impact assessments and design recommendations
- Deliver structured analysis to inform organisational design decisions and workforce implications
- Lead defined work packages or discrete components of operating model design streams
- Ensure alignment and connection across design activities to support a cohesive, programmatic approach
- Prepare workshop materials, design scenarios and visual documentation
- Provide guidance on operating model design concepts, tools and approaches to stakeholders
- Produce workforce transition inputs, role impact summaries and consultation artefacts
- Support change and implementation readiness activities with relevant inputs and analysis
- Ensure all design work aligns with approved frameworks, tools and standards
- Assist with documentation required for handover to implementation and change teams
Key skills and experience:
- Degree qualification in Human Resources, Business, Organisational Development, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience partnering with and advising leaders on people, workforce, and organisational matters to support business performance and enhance employee outcomes.
- Strong experience in business analysis, data interpretation, and translating insights into practical recommendations and actions.
- Experience supporting large-scale transformation, operating model, organisational design, or enterprise change initiatives.
- Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesise complex information and generate meaningful insights.
- Demonstrated ability to develop high-quality reports, presentations, design artefacts, and other decision-support materials.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes within agreed timeframes.
- Effective stakeholder engagement, communication, and influencing skills, with the ability to build trusted working relationships across all levels of an organisation.
- Collaborative working style and experience contributing to multidisciplinary project teams in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to work with ambiguity, exercise sound judgement, and adapt to changing business needs and priorities.
