About the Role
The role plays a key role in planning, scheduling and coordinating maintenance activities across the Defence contract. You will work closely with operations teams, supervisors, schedulers and Defence stakeholders to ensue maintenance work is effectively planned, resourced and delivered safely and efficiently.
Key responsibilities include -
- Planning and scheduling maintenance activities and programs
- Reviewing and processing maintenance requests
- Creating and managing work orders
- Coordinating parts, materials and resource requirements
- Monitoring maintenance progress and supporting operational reporting
- Liaising with Defence customers and stakeholders regarding maintenance requirements
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensuring compliance with safety, quality, environmental and contractual requirements
Required Skills and Experience
- Experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, work order management in a complexed maintenance environment
- Electrical or mechanical trade qualification or strong trade background
- Experience coordinating maintenance workflows, resources, materials and spare parts
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and SAP systems (S4 Hanna preferred)
