The Opportunity
Ventia is managing the Western Roads Upgrade (WRU) project in Victoria, which is a 20-year contract that includes asset management, rehabilitation, and maintenance services for over 260 kilometres of urban road network in Melbourne's west.
We are currently hiring a Skilled Labourer to join our team based in Laverton, Victoria on a permanent full-time night shift roster, Monday to Thursday from 7:00pm to 5:00am.

Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Assisting with road maintenance activities including asphalting, sign repairs, concreting, vegetation maintenance, pit repairs, emergency callouts, pavement cleaning, yard clean-up and general labouring duties.
- Supporting the delivery of planned and reactive maintenance works across the road network.
- Operating safely in accordance with project procedures and safety requirements.
- Working collaboratively within a crew to complete works to quality and performance standards.
- Maintaining work sites, tools and equipment in a safe and tidy condition.
About You
- Demonstrated experience in road maintenance or a similar civil construction environment.
- Construction Industry White Card.
- Current HR Driver's Licence. (desirable)
- Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
