As part of our long-term partnership with Viva Energy, Ventia is seeking an experienced and qualified Mechanical Fitter/Boilermaker to join our team at the Viva Energy Terminal in Clyde, Sydney.
In this role, you’ll play an important part in maintaining critical infrastructure that helps keep Australia’s fuel supply moving safely and reliably.
What you’ll need
- Australian-recognised Mechanical Fitter trade qualification
- Recent experience working as a Mechanical Fitter in an industrial environment
- Current Working at Heights and Confined Space Entry tickets
- A strong commitment to safety and safe work practices
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team while maintaining high standards of workmanship
- Current Driver’s Licence — essential
- First Aid Certificate — desirable
What you’ll bring
- Proven experience in mechanical maintenance and fault-finding
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- The ability to follow established processes, procedures and work instructions
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment
- A positive and proactive approach to health, safety and environmental standards
