About the Role
Ventia is looking for a qualified Field Electrician to join our trades team. This is a dynamic FIFO role where you’ll be on site for two weeks. Maintaining and repairing electrical systems to keep operations safe and efficient. You’ll plan your work based on scheduled work orders and collaborate with the Electrical Superintendent, Maintenance Manager, and field crews to ensure everything runs smoothly.

About You
- Trade-qualified Electrician with experience in oil and gas, ideally on drilling or workover rigs.
- Competent to work solo and in a team environment and the ability to make decisions following applicable standards and electrical safety knowledge
- Strong knowledge of PLC systems and control, plus related software (desirable)
- Soft starter/ VSD and power generation experience is desirable
- Three phase motors and control systems
- Post-trade electrical experience in heavy industrial environments with good general electrical knowledge in relevant areas
- Skilled at fault-finding and troubleshooting under pressure
- Point of hire: Perth, WA
- Competent in using computer systems for maintenance tracking and reporting
- Valid Open Manual Driver’s Licence (or higher)
- Hazardous Area’s: Certificate IV in Electrical Equipment in Hazardous areas (EEHA)
