Ventia is seeking an organised and relationship-focused Contract Coordinator to support the delivery of essential services across the City of Sydney portfolio.
Reporting to the Subcontractor Manager, you'll play a key role in contractor governance, compliance, onboarding and performance management. Working closely with operational teams and subcontractors, you'll help ensure contractual obligations are met, service standards are maintained, and strong stakeholder relationships are fostered across the portfolio
About the Role
As Contract Coordinator, you'll work closely with operational teams and a large subcontractor network, ensuring contractors are engaged, compliant and performing to agreed service standards. You'll contribute to continuous improvement initiatives while supporting contract administration, procurement activities and contractor relationships across the portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate subcontractor performance monitoring, service reviews and reporting against contractual KPIs and service standards.
- Manage contractor onboarding, compliance requirements, administrative enquiries and governance activities to support safe and effective service delivery.
- Support contract administration activities, including document control, contract variations, renewals, procurement processes and tender support.
- Build strong working relationships with subcontractors and internal stakeholders while assisting with performance improvement initiatives and contractor engagement.
- Maintain accurate asset and contractor records, ensuring data integrity and supporting operational reporting requirements.

You will bring:
- Experience in contract administration, contractor coordination or subcontractor management.
- Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills.
- Experience managing KPIs, SLAs and performance reporting.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong attention to detail.
- Understanding of contractor compliance, governance and contractual obligations.
- The ability to manage competing priorities with a proactive, continuous improvement mindset.
