Ventia is seeking an experienced Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) Advisor to support a portfolio of telecommunications projects across Brisbane and Australia wide. About the role
As a Safety (SHEQ) Advisor, you'll play a key role in supporting the safe and successful delivery of telecommunications infrastructure projects across in Queensland and nationally.
Additionally, you'll:
- Partner with operational teams to promote a strong safety culture
- Build trusted relationships with clients and key stakeholders
- Conduct site inspections, audits and assurance activities
- Support incident investigations and drive continuous improvement
- Provide guidance on SHEQ systems, processes and compliance
- Contribute to quality outcomes across multiple network programs
- Travel to project sites across the state and occasionally interstate
What are we looking for? Do you have:
- A willingness to learn and continuously develop
- The ability to identify opportunities for improvement and follow through with completion
- A practical approach to problem solving and risk management
- Ability to work autonomously, manage completing priorities and build effective relationships
- A background within telecommunications, construction, utilities or infrastructure environments
- Qualified in Workplace Health and Safety, Environmental Management, Quality or similar
- Strong knowledge of WHS legislation, compliance requirements and management systems
