About the Role
As Ventia’s Digital Services team grows, we’re looking for a Project Manager to shape and steer the implementation, delivery, and governance of strategic initiatives across the business.
This is a permanent, full-time role based at our Cremorne, VIC office — ideal for a Project Manager eager to contribute to a large, diverse organisation delivering anything from hardware and system upgrades or improvements and process enhancements across Ventia’s operations.
The Project Manager will be responsible for key delivery activities which may include:
- Provide regular, comprehensive reporting on project status, performance, risks and actions.
- Ensure timely and accurate updating of capital spend for financial reporting, ensuring compliance and transparency.
- Actively review financial budgets for any potential release of funds, adopt a cost-conscious behaviour for the broader benefit of Ventia.
- Identify, assess, and drive risks & actions, implementing proactive measures to minimize issues.
- Adopt and adhere to the delivery of key project deliverables and entry/exit gates in PMO 365.
- Manage allocation of resources to delivery project in the agreed timelines and budget.
- Stakeholder engagement and management from internal and external resources and Vendors.
About You
To be successful in your application, you will have proven experience as a Project Manager in implementation, delivery and governance ideally working in a large multifaceted organisation accompanied with:
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Project and the Microsoft Suite
- Proficient in the use of PMO365
- Have a Prince2 Certification or equivalent
- Proven experience in managing multiple projects
- Jira experience desirable
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills with internal and external teams including Vendors
- Financials Management experience; cost variances, forecasting, delivering on time, to scope and within budget
- Proven experience in managing complex projects involving multiple stakeholders, tight deadlines, and competing priorities
- Demonstrated ability to successfully deliver end-to-end projects in alignment with established project management frameworks and governance standards
