Step into a pivotal leadership role on our Sydney Roads and Asset Performance Contract based in Arndell Park. As the on-site driving force, you’ll lead and coordinate all subcontractor activities, serving as the primary Ventia representative and setting the standard for excellence across the project.

Key Accountabilities
- Effectively manage subcontractors to ensure timely, responsive delivery of project objectives
- Ensure all work meets established project standards and quality requirements
- Develop, implement, and deliver work in accordance with the approved project plan
- Actively contribute to a collaborative, productive, and high-performing team environment
- Ensure maintenance activities are carried out safely and efficiently, supporting the Superintendent in achieving project objectives
- Establish and maintain accurate and comprehensive records, supporting work crews in the capture of asset and work-specific data
- Build and maintain productive internal and external stakeholder relationships to ensure requirements are met
- Manage incident response activities, ensuring teams respond safely, effectively, and in accordance with procedures
- Support the Superintendent in achieving project Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Assist the maintenance team in meeting sustainability and diversity objectives
- Undertake Lead, Engage, Analyse and Discuss (LEAD) activities across Civil, ITS, and project operations to proactively identify and address SHE improvement opportunities
- Review and assess Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) to ensure compliance and effectiveness
About You
- Trade qualification or substantial hands-on experience in road maintenance
- Certificate in Civil Engineering (desirable)
- Demonstrated experience supervising civil and pavement works
- RMS qualified (Traffic Control Red and Yellow tickets required; Design and Audit training desirable)
- Proven ability to manage and coordinate subcontractors
- Strong works management and scheduling skills
- Current EWP, MR, and relevant plant/operator licences (mandatory)
- Hold a current, valid Driver’s Licence
