Ventia are seeking a Cleaning Team Leader to join our Domestic Services Team at Robertson Barracks in Darwin, NT. You will be responsible for overseeing a team of cleaners, servicing a variety of facilities on site and ensuring cleaning operations run smoothly and meet quality standards.
This is a casual position with full time hours, offering $27.44 per hour. Shifts are 7am – 3pm Monday to Friday
To qualify you must be an Australian Citizen and able to obtain defence clearance

Key duties:
• Regularly conducting cleaning duties to ensure quality standards are met
• Managing an efficient roster
• Promoting and monitoring safe work practices.
• Inspections of cleaning standards and report writing
• Effectively communicating with staff and liaising with clients when required.
• Assign tasks and monitor performance.
• Provide training and guidance to new and existing team members.
• Monitor stock levels of cleaning materials and equipment.
• Administrative Tasks
Skills and Experience:
• Must be used to working in outside in a hot environment
• A strong knowledge of cleaning services
• A valid Australian Driving Licence & own transport
• Administration experience is essential (Proficient in use of Microsoft programs, excel, outlook, etc.)
• An ability to lead, motivate, and influence your staff members to deliver excellent results.
• Strong time management and multitasking skills.
