This 12 month Fixed-Term Contract role supports Ventia’s operations across Australia by assisting with purchasing administration and maintaining accurate procurement data. Based in Ventia’s Toowoomba CBD office, the position suits someone early in their career or looking to build experience in a corporate, fast paced environment.
Working within a collaborative team, you’ll provide essential administrative support to ensure purchasing activities run smoothly and in line with Ventia’s policies and processes.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Processing purchase requisitions
- Assisting with the collection and recording of supplier quotes
- Rectifying Invoice discrepancies
- Collating, entering, and maintaining purchasing and supplier data
- Performing routine data entry and administrative tasks to support the team
- Following up on queries within the team and with other internal departments
- Liaising with suppliers as required to support day to day purchasing activities

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- The ability to manage routine tasks and meet deadlines
