About the role:
You’ll work closely with the bids, operations, and commercial teams to ensure contracts and tender submissions are commercially sound, compliant, and aligned with organisational requirements. Additionally, you’ll:
- Review tender documents and contract terms to identify key commercial obligations, risks, and opportunities.
- Prepare commercial components of tender submissions and refine contract clauses, schedules, and clarifications.
- Communicate critical commercial risks and requirements to stakeholders and support risk/opportunity assessments during tender phases.
- Provide guidance on subcontractor engagement, liaise with subcontractors, and ensure their terms align with head contract obligations.
- Support strong contract governance by reviewing documentation and facilitating clear commercial oversight across teams.
About you:
- Construction, transport, maintenance, or civil infrastructure experience (desired).
- Strong background in pre contracts and operational commercial support within a contractor environment.
- Demonstrated experience in contract administration, commercial management, or a related field.
- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to interpret complex contract documentation.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
