About the role
You’ll join our internal delivery team as an Identity Engineer, helping implement and enhance SailPoint Identity across a large IT and OT environment. You’ll apply your IAM expertise to design integrations, configure the platform, and resolve complex identity issues.
Your work will shape how identities are secured at scale, ensuring reliable, high quality‑quality outcomes that support both security and business needs.

What the role will involve:
You’ll be part of a high performing internal delivery team bringing SailPoint Identity to life across the organisation. As a senior Identity Engineer, you’ll lead the design, configuration, and ongoing support of our enterprise SailPoint IGA platform. You’ll collaborate closely with business stakeholders, partner with engineers and analysts, and contribute as a trusted team player who lifts those around you.
Your expertise will shape how we secure identities at scale — and you’ll have plenty of opportunities to influence, innovate, and improve.
Key responsibilities include:
- Design and build Identity Governance workflows for provisioning, deprovisioning, access reviews, and lifecycle automation
- Configure, optimise, and maintain the SailPoint Identity Security Cloud platform to ensure reliability and performance
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex identity, integration, and access issues across IT and OT environments
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and business stakeholders to shape solution designs and deliver seamless integrations
- Support compliance and audit readiness through reporting, analytics, and strong control execution
- Create and maintain high quality‑quality technical documentation, runbooks, and operational guides
- Contribute to change management and release planning, ensuring smooth and controlled platform updates
- Mentor and uplift junior engineers and support staff, fostering capability and continuous improvement across the team
Key skills and experience:
There are a few things that we’ll look for on your CV. Ideally, you’ll have:
- strong understanding of Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) concepts, including lifecycle management and access reviews
- previous experience configuring SailPoint Identity Security Cloud
- solid knowledge of modern authentication standards (SAML, OAuth, OIDC, SCIM)
- strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non‑engagement skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical teams
- Hands on‑on experience integrating identity systems with HR, directory, and enterprise applications
- experience troubleshooting identity, access, and workflow issues across complex environments
- the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non‑engagement skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non‑technical teams
- experience working in Agile or iterative delivery environments
- excellent documentation habits, including runbooks, solution designs, and operational guides
