HCF is seeking a dedicated Hospital & Medical Maintenance Officer to join our team. This role requires strong data entry accuracy and administrative capability to maintain and improve hospital and medical provider records. You will play a key role in ensuring information integrity across HCF systems, supporting day‑to‑day administration of HCF’s and RT Health medical gap arrangements, and ensuring compliance with Medicover and Medical Purchaser Provider Agreement (MPPA) schemes through precise data management and process administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance medical and hospital provider maintenance processes.
- Support the administration of HCF’s/RT Health medical gap arrangements.
- Ensure high accuracy in data input and system updates.
- Deliver outstanding service to providers, internal teams, members, Medicare Australia, and provider associations.
- Facilitate compliance with Medicover and MPPA schemes.
- Develop and refine operational procedures to improve service delivery.
- Maintain effective provider relations and stakeholder liaison.
- Provide support for claims processing and resolution.
- Uphold Work Health and Safety (WHS) standards and ensure regulatory compliance.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
- Proven data entry experience with a strong focus on accuracy, attention to detail, and data integrity.
- Demonstrated administrative skills, including record maintenance, system updates, and process documentation.
- Ability to manage multiple administrative tasks while meeting deadlines in a structured, compliance‑focused environment.
- Experience in healthcare administration, provider management, or a similar data‑driven administrative role.
Desirable Criteria
- Familiarity with Medicover and MPPA schemes.
- Experience with claims support and medical gap arrangements.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in healthcare, business, or administration.
