About the role
The role is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, accuracy, and continuous improvement of Procurement systems and supplier master data. It acts as the central link between suppliers, internal stakeholders, and digital systems, enabling efficient electronic trading, compliant supplier onboarding, and high‑quality data management.
You oversee supplier lifecycle processes, from onboarding and thorough due diligence checks, through to record maintenance and reporting, while also supporting system enhancements, automation initiatives, and business intelligence activities. The role blends system support, data governance, stakeholder engagement, and process optimisation to enhance Procurement performance and ensure compliance across all supplier interactions.

What the role will involve
- Analyse business needs, define system/process requirements, test enhancements, and drive procurement system and automation improvements.
- Manage supplier master data, ensuring accuracy, compliance, due‑diligence, onboarding, catalogue updates, and electronic trading enablement.
- Maintain high data integrity through audits, validation, risk checks, and strong data governance controls.
- Develop and support business intelligence, reporting, visualisation, and self‑service data capabilities.
- Oversee supplier insurance compliance, controls, exception management, and automated notifications.
- Liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve queries, maintain supplier records, manage portal access, and deliver continuous process improvement.
Your skills and experience
- Extensive experience conducting comprehensive due diligence on prospective suppliers and identifying potential risks and managing end‑to‑end vendor administration.
- Proven background in a similar supplier or vendor management role with excellent customer service and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Highly organised, proactive, and confident managing a busy supplier administration inbox and internal queries.
- Skilled in maintaining accurate data and documentation with strong attention to detail and process management.
- Able to work independently, solve problems, and support continuous improvement in supplier and system processes.
- Experience with SAP is an advantage.
