About the role
We have a fixed‑term opportunity for a Senior Analyst – Financial Performance within the Financial Services Business Unit. As a key member of the Group Finance team, you will support APDG, FG, TXO, and the CEO Office.
Reporting to the Manager Group Finance, you will build strong working relationships across the business and deliver high‑quality financial and accounting support to drive business performance. This includes providing insights, identifying improvement opportunities across Sections and Business Units, and ensuring the efficient delivery of core financial services. You may also be required to provide ad‑hoc performance support to the broader team as needed.

What you can expect with this role
- Deliver a comprehensive range of financial and accounting services for the assigned Group, including budgeting, forecasting, business performance reviews, analysis, reporting, and consolidation of all finance deliverables.
- Prepare, analyse, and present monthly Group and Business Unit financial management reports and Business Performance Reports.
- Provide expert advice and consultancy on finance and accounting matters as required.
- Monitor, analyse, and report on financial performance at both Group and Business Unit levels.
- Identify and recommend opportunities to improve business performance across Sections and Business Units.
- Review capital investment proposals and advise on financial and commercial implications.
- Develop and maintain an understanding of key commercial contracts and assess their impact on the Group’s financial performance.
- Ensure adherence to the Corporation’s financial policies, standards, and procedures.
Your skills and experience
For this role, we are looking for great talent with:
- Tertiary qualifications in accounting, finance, or an approved equivalent.
- Significant experience in financial and management accounting within a large, complex organisation.
- Strong background in budgeting, forecasting, and financial management.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Solid understanding of accounting standards and internal control requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with SAP FICO and related modules.
- Professional membership (CA/CPA) is desirable.
