About the Role
We will be constructing a 275/33kv substation & 2km of 275kV transmission line from Brigalow Gas Power Station, and connect to the transmission network in Chinchilla, QLD.
The Civil Supervisor will oversee day-to-day site activities ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to program.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Work with planner to ensure appropriate schedule resources, plant and equipment and materials are allocated
- Support the crews with oversight of the day-to-day activities, as well as perform administrative tasks as well as provide ongoing coaching and support.
- Lead reporting activities relating to works planned, completed, risks and issues, with a focus on ongoing improvement
- Act as a role model for practical, positive & empowered safety behaviours in the workplace
About You
- Must obtain equivalent or higher than a Cert III or Cert IV in Civil Construction.
- Minimum two years’ experience in supervising earthworks and civil construction activities on an industrial construction site.
- Renewable Energy projects and or Substation construction or expansion experience preferred.
- Experience in a high-volume maintenance environment desirable.
- Extensive experience in the planning, set-up, and execution of works.
- Current Driver’s Licence
