At HCF, we focus on supporting better health outcomes for our members through smart, sustainable decision making. With technology playing a critical role in how we deliver for our members, we’re seeking a Business Risk Advisor to partner with our Technology division and help leaders navigate risk with confidence.
The Business Risk Advisor is embedded within the Technology business, working closely with Executives and Senior Leaders to provide trusted, practical risk advice. The role plays an integral part in the operationalisation and continuous improvement of HCF’s Risk Management Framework, supporting uplift in organisational risk maturity and strengthening risk culture across the division. Through strong partnerships with the business, the role influences decision making by supporting leaders to understand and manage risk in a way that enables delivery and innovation while operating within acceptable risk parameters.
Working directly with Technology leaders, the Business Risk Advisor provides consultation on risk matters, guidance to support sound business decisions, and develops a deep understanding of Technology operations, control environments and ways of working. Engagement in business forums and divisional discussions ensures close alignment with strategies, priorities and change initiatives, enabling risk considerations to be effectively embedded into planning and execution. The role also supports divisional risk profile discussions, contributes to meaningful risk insights and outputs, and identifies opportunities to continuously improve risk practices and processes.
