Ventia, in partnership with the Australian Defence Force,is seeking experienced Trade Assistants with tyre fitting experience to join the team in Edinburgh, SA, maintaining and repairing Defence vehicles and equipment.

- Monday to Thursday: 6:45 am – 3:30 pm & Friday: 7.00 am – 12:00 pm.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide hands‑on support to trades staff in the workshop and occasionally outdoors
- Assisting with vehicle servicing, repairs, and tyre changes
- Participating in stocktakes, checklists, consumable replenishment, and general housekeeping
- Assisting with maintenance paperwork, including parts identification and worksheets
- Supporting general site and workplace activities as required.
Key Skills & Attributes Include:
- Must be an Australian citizen and able to maintain a Defence Security Clearance.
- Demonstrated experience in tyre fitting, or recent hands‑on experience performing manual maintenance on mechanical or engineering‑based equipment.
- Proven experience using hand tools to a high standard
- Strong work ethic with a proactive, positive, and team‑focused attitude
- Hold a current open Driver’s License (HR licence ideal)
- Previous Defence experience desirable but not essential.
