About The Role
Our Infrastructure Services – Electricity & Gas team are growing and have a new position for a Project Engineer to support the successful delivery of infrastructure projects by managing commercial, program, construction, and administrative activities in line with client and contractual requirements.
The role operates across both site and office environments, ensuring construction deliverables, approvals, and documentation are completed accurately, safely, and on time.
This is a permanent full time position based from our Dandenong South Depot with site travel when required and offering flexible working environment.
Other responsibilities as required:
- Support the planning, coordination, and execution of project works to meet client and contractual requirements.
- Coordinate site and office-based activities to ensure alignment with approved scope, program, and budget.
- Support cost tracking, forecasting, and expenditure control.
- Monitor project costs and report risks or opportunities.
- Track progress against milestones and identify delays.
- Provide engineering and technical support to site teams.
- Review construction methodologies, work packs, and documentation.
- Collate and manage construction deliverables to client requirements.
- Coordinate permit applications and approvals.
- Issue approved work packs and authorisations to work groups.
- Participate in site inspections, audits, and reviews.
About You
The successful applicant will have an Engineering Degree accompanied with experience working as a Project Engineer, ideally in thee Electricity and/or Gas space.
You will also possess:
- Experience with ERP software (particularly SAP / Ariba)
- Excel Intermediate to Advance skills
- Strong analytical skills to problem solve and provide innovation
- A Drivers licence
